In the last 50 years the church in Africa has seen the rise of the apostolic movement. With the title of “apostle” becoming one of the most sought after by Christian leaders today, and with many claiming to be apostles and to exercise the apostolic gift, it’s important that we seek to understand what this movement is really about. Do we still have apostles? What would it mean for the Body of Christ if the office of apostle was non-existent? These and many other important questions deserve honest answers.
