Engaging Atheists and Skeptics (Part 2)

When reaching out to atheists skeptics and agnostics, we must remember what is behind unbelief. Scripture tells us that unbelief is a spiritual issue expressed in a number of ways: There is an opposition to the law of God and it’s righteous requirement; there is a darkening of the understanding that makes it impossible to see, truly, the light of the gospel; there is a love for the world that makes unbelief convenient. The mind, the soul and the will are all intricately involved. Apologetics must, therefore, be done in dependence on the Spirit of God, not the force of argument.
